(Hebrews 12:3) Again, my model Michael, a dedicated
Christian. The composition is triangular, symbolizing stability
and aspiration. The folds of the robe (made out of "monk's
cloth") are meant to suggest strength. The inspiration
cam by putting together strength and joy from Jeremiah, "The
joy of the Lord is your strength." The second inspirational
passage is from Hebrews. It suggests we keep an eye on Jesus,
who for the joy set before Him, was able to endure his trials.
The cross of light symbolizes the transformation for us made
possible by His sacrifice. While we are yet on earth, some
of us are called upon to endure harsh persecution and painful
trials, and this image can hopefully remind us to keep on
eyes on Jesus during those times. |
