(I Peter) Imperishable Seed is a watercolor
resulting from my friendship with Gail. Gail had a beautiful
collection of vintage clothes passed down from her great grandmother
and great aunts - and a figure that fit into them! I got the
idea from this one watching her teach her first-grader Katy
to read. Eventually Gail and Katy posed in the studio dressed
to the nines and reading the family bible. I Peter calls this
word of God “The Imperishable Seed,” and while
this image is not overtly religious, I hope it may inspire
the home and family conscious woman to remember the seed that
brings about abundance of God’s gifts.
